ORG Telecom and IP Unity to deploy Voicemail over Nationwide Digital Network in Bangladesh
MILPITAS, Calif. and Dhaka, Bangladesh — February 14, 2005— IP Unity, along with its partner ORG Telecom, announced today plans for the deployment of IP Unity's award-winning systems in Tele Barta's new voicemail feature set throughout Bangladesh. ORG Telecom has been awarded the contract from Motorola, original network equipment supplier to Telebarta, for deployment of IP Unity's HMS6000™ media/application server. The nation's 135 million people will have access to unique voice messaging in addition to a wide range of value added voice and data telecom services and applications for individuals, hospitals, government and public sector organizations.
The entire network will be seamlessly integrated with Tele Barta's current deployment of operations and business support systems from Motorola. ORG Telecom is providing system integration and deployment services. IP Unity's service platform enables quick, cost-effective deployment over traditional and new telephony.
