Cas Skrzypczak, general partner at Global Asset Communications, and Adrian Nemcek, an executive vice president of Motorola, Inc. and president of Motorola Networks, were appointed to the board in late 2004.

He was previously senior vice president and general manager of the Office of Strategy for Motorola's wireless infrastructure business. In that role, Adrian was responsible for strategic business development, business strategy, standards and intellectual property, global alliances and investments for Motorola's wireless telecom infrastructure business. "These outstanding leaders have joined an already very strong board, to help build the planning, execution and business cycle management depth best suited to our growing role as a major global solutions player," stated CEO and chairman Arun Sobti.
"Cas has scored amazing successes in network convergence and in migrating both operators and systems vendors through technology evolution and massive service deployments," he continued. "Adrian is an inspiration to us in terms of his accomplishments in mobile networking, and in robustly weathering the ups and downs, consolidations and maturation in telecom. Both individuals are legends and prolific influencers in our industry, and we look forward to their synergies within the board and management team."
"I am pleased to have the opportunity to contribute to a company which has such potential in the coming waves of enhanced services solutions," noted Cas Skrzypczak. "IP Unity is extremely well-aligned with service providers' needs for functionality, integration, economics and convergence."
