IP Unity Announced Partnership with Carrius Technologies

IP Unity delivers its high-density, highly scalable and powerful Mereon™ 6000 Media Server to mobile operators who need messaging, voice-activated dialing, prepaid, interactive voice response, conferencing and new rich media applications. The Carrius Compleat-200’s unique combination of application control, signaling protocol translation, and media gateway functions enhances the Mereon 6000 Media Server and its multiple rich-media applications such as voicemail, unified messaging, conferencing and prepaid. These solutions deliver services over TDM, IP, and blended networks while reducing overall solution costs and complexity.

The first carrier networks to benefit from this partnership are the greenfield mobile networks of Telebarta and HITL in South Asia. Two additional large Asian operators, not yet announced, are deploying the companies’ joint solutions. Their subscribers will have a seamless user experience for messaging applications across TDM and broadband wireless networks.
