IP Unity® Appoints New Vice President of Services and Operations and Vice President of Sales

San Jose, Calif — October 16, 2006— IP Unity, the leader in carrier-grade media servers, application servers and real-time multimedia applications, announced today the appointments of Michael Anderson as Vice President of Services and Operations and J.D. Vaughn as Vice President of Sales - North America.

Michael Anderson was most recently Vice President of Services at SonicWALL, where his responsibilities included global support, training and professional services. Under his leadership, revenues grew tenfold.

J.D. joins IP Unity from BayPackets, where he was Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing. He was responsible for all sales and marketing functions as well as business development and investor relations.
