Movius to Demonstrate Powerful New Visual Communications and Social Networking Solutions at AfricaCOM 2008
Johannesburg, South Africa — November 6, 2008—
Movius Interactive Corporation (Movius), a global leader in messaging, collaboration and mobile media solutions, announced today it will be demonstrating its Visual Communications Suite and Mobile Instant Messaging (IM) solutions at AfricaCOM 2008 (booth A18b).
Movius, whose Africa office is located in Johannesburg, will enable visitors to its booth to experience their Visual Communications Suite first hand. The suite includes My Services, an easy to use web interface for configuring, controlling and reviewing voice, video and fax mail messaging features. Additionally the suite includes MessageMe PlusTM, a clientless visual voicemail solution for notifying and delivering voice and fax mail messages to a mobile phone as well as Visual Mail, a handset client offer for smart phones that allows user to manage messages directly on their handset.
Additionally Movius will be demonstrating the use of its Mobile IM solution to interact with social networks and intelligent agent (BOTS) in chat rooms. Using noknok, MTN South Africa's live Mobile IM service, attendees at AfricaCOM will be able to interact with a Movius application BOT and enter a contest to win a daily prize.
