Movius Gets the Message to Africa in Nigeria Conference Debut
New communications suite ideal for African market applicationsATLANTA, Ga. — June 2, 2009— Movius Interactive Corporation, a global leader in messaging, collaboration and mobile media solutions, today announced it will be showcasing its latest communication applications at West & Central AfricaCOM 2009.
Movius, formerly IP Unity Glenayre, will be making its debut at the event being held at the Abuja Conference and Exhibition Centre in Nigeria from 17th to 18th June 2009. Visitors to the Movius booth (B4) will be able to experience first hand the benefits of the company's latest suite of applications, including Voice SMS and Visual Mail.
Voice SMS enables a user to send and receive an audio message, with a text message alert, allowing longer messages to be left and encouraging the use of messaging services in markets where voice communication is typically preferred. The Voice SMS suite consists of both clientless solutions as well as Fun Talk SMS, a feature rich client solution that includes avatars, ringtones and background music.
Movius' Visual Mail Suite includes MessageMe Plus. This clientless visual mail service enables a visual voicemail experience on any phone using SMS or MMS.
Alongside this, Movius will be discussing solutions that meet the unique market requirements of Africa including services designed to reach users without the need to own a telephone. These services will not only help carriers grow their revenue but also significantly increase their overall market penetration.
