Huawei Awards Movius wth Excellence Accolade
ATLANTA, Ga. — October 27, 2009— Movius Interactive Corporation, a global leader in messaging, collaboration and mobile media solutions, has received a prestigious award in recognition of its work with Huawei, one of the world's foremost telecoms solutions providers.
Movius CEO Oscar Rodriguez accepted the inTouch Partnership Program - Excellent Partner 2009 award at a special presentation held at Huawei's 2009 SDP Seminar and Partner Conference in Cancun, Oct. 7-9.
The award was made in recognition of Movius' speed and innovation in support of Huawei's initiatives. Of specific note was Movius' clientless visual voicemail solution, called MessageMe Plus, which was demonstrated at the conference as a solution integrated into Huawei's SDP (Service Delivery Platform).
Mr. Rodriguez commented, "As part of the conference preparation, Huawei and Movius worked together to create applications that could be demonstrated at the conference. With strong teamwork from all concerned, the integration was completed within a three-week timeframe. The teams are now jointly working on the next phases to bring additional applications and service capabilities."
During the two day event, Mr. Rodriguez also delivered a presentation examining "Visual Voicemail for any Device" and took part in a panel discussion on "How to build a successful VAS ecosystem in Latin America."
