MI1V Versera ICE Technician Level 1

Length: 5 Days

Course Description

This course is base technician training for ICE switch technicians. The course begins with a description of the basic functions and features of the Versera ICE system. Students will learn to operate Network Management features in the System Management Unit (SMU), and operate and maintain the Next Generation Message Store (NGMS) and the Signaling Gateway Function (SGF). The Dot Hill Raid unit is discussed and students will be provided an understanding of how the Dot Hill RAID unit is integrated into an NGMS system and how to perform disaster recovery on the Dot Hill. Students will be provided lab exercises in which to practice many of the tasks.

Delivery

All modules are delivered via instructor led virtual classroom.

About Virtual Classroom eLearning

Virtual Classroom eLearning is an exciting form of learning that enables live, online collaboration over the web. Students can actively participate in real time from almost anywhere, interacting with the instructor and each other, and even share applications. Depending on the session, a student can communicate with audio, work on a shared whiteboard, take a test, or surf the web with fellow students, all from that student's home computer. Virtual Classroom eLearning combines many of the benefits of classroom learning with those of computer-based training. You can interact with a live instructor, but save on the costs of actually traveling to the classroom.
